Giving is at the root of the Plymold business. Our employee-owned business was established from the philanthropic roots of our founder, Harold Nielsen, who gave his business to the employees who helped him grow it. Plymold’s employee-owners visualize giving back as an important part of living and working in a local community. The Employee Ownership Committee is proud to announce we will be providing opportunities for qualified individuals to receive a $500 scholarship to support plans to continue their education beyond high school. The scholarships are not awarded based on financial need or scholastic achievement; rather provide the opportunity for continuing education financial assistance to any student who shows leadership and community involvement in their community outside of scholastic activities.

Plymold will award two (2) individual $500 scholarships – one is reserved for a Kenyon-Wanamingo graduating senior and one for a Plymold employee-owner or the grandchild, or dependent child of a Plymold employee-owner who is graduating from high school in 2022 and planning to attend an accredited institution offering post-secondary education and/or career training and instruction.

Selection of the recipients will be conducted in an anonymous review of the essays by the Plymold Scholarship Committee. All decisions are final.

To apply, please complete an application form and submit it along with a personal essay outlining your community involvement and its impact.
